It all started when…

John McMaster has been passionate about engineering since elementary school when he learned BASIC, eventually building a large robot in middle school from garage sale bargains. These passions continued into high school when he built a Tesla coil and began his first software internship. In college he started reverse engineering computer chips after questioning idealized models in textbooks. Today he continues to build out his workspaces with high tech equipment to fully immerse himself in the pursuit of engineering and technology.

He seeks out high impact projects that present multi-disciplinary challenges. He most enjoys working with small teams that allow rapid prototyping and flexible designs. Outside of work he collaborates to document vintage computer history such as Motorola 68K internals.

While not working on tech projects he enjoys glass work. Recent projects include making a stained glass window for his garage and glass blowing a pumpkin.
